About Us


Lazy Fox Lavender Farm was a dream nurtured within our family for years before we were blessed with the opportunity to make it a reality. Our vision stems from a collective desire to grow together and offer a place where people can marvel at the beauty of God’s creation.

After 21 years of moving around the world and serving in the United States Army, Clem retired in 2021. He is a proud veteran and was a Green Beret in Special Operations. He keeps the farm in immaculate order and loves riding his tractor and taking care of the animals and bees. Lindsey is a homeschool mom and stay at home wife that has a passion to always be learning. She loves anything vintage and the farmhouse is her dream home. She works hard keeping the lavender looking good and enjoys having tea with all her new “friends” that come to have tea. Jacqueline is the oldest and is a local cosmetologist in the area, she enjoys helping on the farm when she’s not in school or working. The three youngest children are homeschooled and like helping on the farm, playing with the animals, and you just might see one or two of them serving at the tea parties, helping in our ice cream truck, or working on the farm.

 

We’re often asked, “Why lavender?” Well, we chose lavender for many reasons:
It’s gorgeous in its simplicity and the scent of it on the breeze is exhilarating.
Lavender essential oil is known as the “Swiss Army Knife” of oils for its healing, calming, and antibacterial properties. We like to say we “choose” lavender, but honestly lavender “chose us!” We are encouraged by all the stories we hear from our customers and surprised by how this simple flower touches so many lives in very different ways.

 


Why the name Lazy Fox Lavender Farm? 

Embracing Moore County’s heritage and the storied tradition of fox hunts, we sought a name that paid homage to history with a touch of whimsy. After unanimous agreement, “Lazy Fox Lavender Farm” emerged, blending classic charm with a playful nod to foxes, ultimately becoming a beloved symbol of our lavender farm’s unique character. We actually picked the name out years before we ever stepped foot on our farm. I guess you could say it’s all part of God’s plan. After all everyone knows a fox is anything but lazy except when it's in a lavender field, because the smell of lavender has been proven to relax you.
